We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team!
Essential Functions:
· Oversee a high volume and variety of marketing projects from inception to completion by owning the project workflow, creative timelines, and expected deliverables.
· Liaise with the marketing, creative, and other cross-functional teams to create and maintain traffic schedules with an efficient workflow.
· Ensure that each stage of a project moves forward in a timely manner and approved to completion by monitoring the status, managing tasks and change requests, and resolving discrepancies.
· Identify potential risks or obstacles that could impact project timelines or deliverables and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
· Using our PM/collaboration tool, create, assign, and manage tasks for graphic designers, production artists, etc. and manage the entire feedback/approval process.
· Send approved artwork to outside vendors and approve incoming vendor proofs.
· Implement quality control measures to ensure all deliverables meet established standards and brand guidelines before final approval.
· Update traffic log daily by tracking all active jobs as new jobs are scheduled and projects are completed.
· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of traffic management processes.
· Schedule and oversee weekly status meetings with task owners for prioritization, to set milestones and to ensure deadlines are met.
· Generate and disseminate traffic status reports to keep management updated.
· Provide training and ongoing support to team members on project management tools, processes, and best practices.
· This highly visible position will report directly to the executive leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
· 3 to 5 years of experience in traffic management working with an in-house creative/art department, or at an advertising agency or design firm.
· Strong sense of urgency and persistence for getting projects done successfully and on time.
· Must have the ability to skillfully collaborate with all stakeholders in our creative and marketing departments.
· Must be diligent and persistent in follow-up and completion of multiple projects by monitoring each participating department.
· Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, especially in navigating through multiple rounds of edits and changes.
· Proficient in Windows and Mac OS and PM/collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday, TaskWorld.
· Proficiency with Adobe CS programs and experience with digital asset management systems (DAMs) such as Bynder, Frontify, Canto.
