Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Perform medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic coding for medical billing purposes
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
