The True North team seeks an experienced Property Manager, who also has some international property management experience. The successful candidate will ensure efficient daily operations and manage the financial objectives of a growing international real estate development corporation's residential and mixed-use properties. The position is long term and also has the potential for substantial future professional growth. The rght candidate will have a history of successful experience in all aspects of property management, including budget preparation and management, lease negotiations, financial performance reporting, and oversight of maintenance and improvements. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader and strong communicator with a history of property management experience. The successful candidate will have previous property management experience and understand that the focus on tenant interaction is key and have the ability to adeptly manage the balance between tenant happiness and good profit margins.
The successful Property Manager will manage daily property requirements and maintain long-range capital improvements planning. The Property Manager will also coordinate with vendors, contractors, and tenant relations personnel to ensure completion and quality of work, as well as to prepare the property maintenance team to respond to emergency situations. The property manager will be responsible for managing and planning property operating budgets, controlling and improving property income and expenses, and providing regular financial reports to corporate management.
We seek a self-starter who has demonstrated discretion and sound decision making without direct oversight. Top Property Manager Candidates will possess the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, employees, colleagues, and associates. We also desire an experienced international traveler. Multi-lingual candidates are highly desired.
Requirements
· College degree. Major in business administration or a related field preferred, but not required.
· Minimum ten years of experience in the property management field.
· Travel and business experience in the MENA or Asia regions preferred.
· Solid experience in creating and maintaining budgets.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Strong teamwork and leadership skills, ability to get along with others from varied backgrounds
· Candidates should be interested in relocating to the Middle East, North Africa,or SE Asia (non-conflict zones only) and travel within the region.
· Must be capable of working independently, multi-tasking, appreciate efficiency and be hghly adaptable.
· Candidates must abide by a drug free workplace policy and are subject to testing.
