Job Summary
The associate is responsible for order entry, purchasing, and general clerical duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Review and enter incoming orders
-Update material and outside processing costs as needed
-Coordinate with scheduler/project manager to ensure delivery schedule is achievable
-Acknowledge Orders
-Purchase materials and tooling as required
-Provide material lead time(s) to projects
-Perform general clerical duties as needed to assist day to day operations
-Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers, customers, and team members to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner
-Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
-Must be a U.S. Citizen
-Two years purchasing/clerial experience preferred
-General knowledge of Microsoft Office
-JobBoss/ERP system experience preferred
-Ability to work independently and also as a team
-Ability to create and maintain good business relationships with customers and vendors
-Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
-Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills
