JOB DESCRIPTION
Posh Hospitality Group is currently seeking a Part Time Hotel Maintenance Technician. As a hotel maintenance technician, you ensure the first impression of our guestrooms conditions and working order! The hospitality industry is fast paced, exciting, career opportunities growth, rewarding and fun!
SHIFT
Saturday and Sunday 8am - 12pm (Flexible on Time) Also you can pick up a couple days during the week (We are Flexible on Hours Start and End Time)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the building and grounds to meet hotel standards.
- Responds to requests from guests for assistance and information about guest rooms and hotel.
- Performs preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
- Plans and executes on-going appropriate maintenance programs.
- Ensures that property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacturer.
- Services the hotel’s pool including cleaning, appearance, and chemical balance and completes maintenance log.
- Maintains building exterior.
- Completes maintenance logs.
- Maintains tool inventory and condition. Keeps maintenance storage room and maintenance room cleaned and organized.
- May perform or assist with periodic or scheduled cleaning projects.
- Maintains open communication with other hotel departments.
- Understands and performs basic safety, security and emergency procedures of the hotel.
- May be required perform duties outdoors in heat and / or snow and at various levels of height.
- Assists other departments when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
General knowledge of maintenance, pools, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, PTAC, and painting, drywall. High School education or equivalent. CPO preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
