Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Aid to join our dynamic team. As a Behavioral Health Aid, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with behavioral health needs in various aspects of their treatment journey. This position starts as part-time with the potential for increased hours to full-time.
Responsibilities:
- - Supporting Therapeutic Activities: Facilitate and participate in therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by clinical staff. Provide educational support and guidance to clients based on their individualized treatment plans. Lesson content will be created by the mental health providers.
- - Transporting Patients: Safely transport clients to and from residential facilities, ensuring their well-being and comfort during transit.
- - Administrative/Clinical Tasks: Assist in administrative and clinical tasks, including maintaining client records and assisting with the referral and intake process. Additional responsibilities may include administrative support, data entry, front desk operations, communication with clients and guardians, and other operational tasks.
- - Supporting Therapeutic Activities: Facilitate and participate in therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by clinical staff.
- - Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clinicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, in related field preferred
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management, and strong ability to multitask
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Flexibility to work Wed-Sun, with the potential for increased hours to full-time
