Overview:
Product Operations Manager for Q-SYS plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of product teams with responsibilities spanning various areas including metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, budgeting, and reporting.
In this role you will create a strong foundation for the entire product team, enabling them to perform at their best and deliver successful outcomes. Your impact will be felt behind the scenes, supporting the success of the teams and increasing the organizational efficiency.
Ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication and analytical problem solving skills with a unique ability to identify gaps and areas of pain-points and working collaboratively with all stakeholders (product managers, development, go-to-market teams and Executive Team) to solve them to improve team productivity.
Base Salary Range 123,000 – 176,000
The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization and Efficiency:

Develop and refine internal processes related to product development, release cycles, and project management.

Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows to improve team efficiency.

Analyze data to garner actionable insights related to product definitions, sales, tools, usage and team productivity and apply findings to drive outcomes aligned with department objectives.

Work with Product Managers and Strategy leads to generate reports and actionable insights.

Infrastructure Management:

Oversee tools and systems used by the product team (e.g., Confluence, JIRA and other product management tools).

Ensure that the team has access to necessary resources and infrastructure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product management, engineering, sales ops and other teams to facilitate seamless collaboration.

Coordinate feature releases, and product launches.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

Assist in budget planning for product initiatives.

Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

Risk Management and Contingency Planning:

Identify potential risks related to product development and deployment.

Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Previous backgruond in strategy or busines operations preferred

2+ years experience working as a product manager in AV or IT field

3+ years working as part of a large, cross-functional collaborative team

Prior experience with product management roles, applications engineering or system administration

Understanding of product management discipline.

Proven ability to pull data, glean insights and assist teams to make data-driven decision making.

Must be able to balance priorities, articulate the impact of trade-off decisions and help the team make the best decisions.

Proficient with MS Office and demonstrated ability to adopt additional tools such as Jira and Confluence.
