LHH is currently recruiting for a Midstream Settlements Accountant for a long-term contract assignment with one of our Oil & Gas clients located in Houston, TX. The job will assist in the preparation and recording of the company’s marketing and trading activities. The job duties for this position are as follows:
Perform monthly crude settlements job duties, confirm, and verify volume and price data.
Prepare monthly owner/producer statements, including distribution calculations.
Prepare monthly regulatory reports, and severance tax calculations and filings.
Prepare monthly journal entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform ad hoc projects related to settlements and marketing activity.
Qualifications include:
2+ years of Oil & Gas crude oil, natural gas or NGL marketing, trading, and settlements experience.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field.
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP experience required, and SAP experience preferred.
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a team environment.
