Schedule: Monday – Friday. Must be able to work from the family office located in Chelsea, NY. This is not a remote opportunity. In-person support is required.
Hours: 9 am – 6 pm

Job Description
A private individual seeks an experienced Personal Assistant to support their private family office. The ideal candidate must have experience managing multiple projects, as well as dealing with budget management and matters related to their private estates/ properties in the US and internationally. The family is looking for someone with a strong background in Art/Education and ideally an interest in philanthropy.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary gatekeeper and liaison
- Organize an ever-changing calendar
- Basic office administrative maintenance and general functions
- Execute special requests and related duties as needed
- Must be able to coordinate with personal/domestic staff as needed
- Oversee property/construction projects
- Provide support in event planning, and support with philanthropic projects
- Coordinate all business and personal travel; book and manage extensive itineraries
- Draft/edit emails and other correspondence
- Must have strong writing skills and must be an excellent communicator
- Managing household staff
- Budget Management
- Organizing art collections and archiving art
- Travel may be required in the future as the family has many philanthropic international projects that would need to be overseen if the principals are not in that location.
- Running personal errands
Requirements
- 4-year College Degree
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience with longevity in previous roles
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers
- Additional language skills are appreciated but not required
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal; excellent English skills are a must
- Must have excellent experience/skills in correspondence, phone, e-mail, etc.
- Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office and Mac OSX; Adobe Creative programs are a plus
- Professional mindset and the utmost discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Flexibility with hours and scheduling
- Fluent in Hebrew is a huge plus
- Valid passport/international travel authorization
- United States work authorization
