Touchstone Advisors is a leading lower middle market M&A advisory firm located in the Northeast. We are in search of professionals with experience in Business Brokerage, Mergers and Acquisitions and other related experiences to work with owners looking to exit their business.
As an M&A Advisor at Touchstone you will meet with owners who are interested in transferring ownership of their business now or in the future. Applicant must have experience as an M&A advisor or Business Broker.
We provide the following services:
- Sell-Side M&A Advisory – Working closely with the business owner we provide a 4-phase process to prepare and market the business to Strategic Buyers, Private Equity and others.
- Business Valuations – Our Estimate of Value (EOV) service provides the business owner with a market-based estimate of what the most probable selling price of the business will be in the market today.
- Business Exit Preparation Services – Through our proprietary Exit Advantage program we help business owners prepare their company for sale. This 10-step process is for business owners NOT looking to sell now but will do so in the next 2-5 years.
The ideal candidates are those who have worked either as a business owner or someone who partnered with business owners to provide essential services. This position will allow you to focus on the single mission of helping business owners prepare and sell their businesses.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Competency in understanding business financials.
- Competency in technology including CRM systems, email and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional mentality with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service while building and maintaining lasting relationship with clients.
- Ability to solve problems independently and creatively.
- Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing deals, clients, and prospects.
- Absolute discretion in handling and communicating with clients and prospects.
- Ability to self-manage and project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust.
Responsibilities:
As M&A Advisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating business transactions and providing valuable guidance to clients. Here are just some of the responsibilities.
- Network with attorneys, accountants, wealth managers and other professionals in your market to develop a good referral source foundation.
- Prospect for new clients including cold calling, email campaigns and other methods.
- Manage transactions from start to finish including coordinating with clients, accountants, attorneys, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Prepare and review engagement agreements, contracts, NDAs and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client interactions.
This is not an easy position, but it is highly rewarding.
This is a Full-time position.
THIS IS A 100% COMMISSION BASED BUSINESS WITH UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL
Realistic earning potential is $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year after a 12–18-month ramp-up period. Candidates should be able to sustain their lifestyle without any closing commission during ramp up.
We will provide support and training.
This person should live in Massachusetts and will be expected to participate in networking events in Boston and surrounding areas.
