REQUIRES AN EXISTING/ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH - NO REMOTE WORK, MUST WORK ON SITE
In this role, a typical day may include:
- Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, user documentation, etc
- Writing and editing technical documentation for all the project's hardware and software requirements to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation
- Producing implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; providing field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formatting technical
publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources
- Standardizing documentation by creating and implementing templates for all document types
- Providing technical writing support to document all Infrastructure Services deliverables, functions, processes, and accreditation efforts
- Maintaining document library to enable ease of document storage, retrieval, updates, and reviews
- Participates in special projects as required
What you'll need:
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in technical research, writing, and editing
- Knowledge of and ability to use various word-processing and desktop publishing software applications
- Knowledge of the organization's products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user's level of
understanding Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite
