Position Summary
Role Highlights:
· Fully remote position with 100% of tasks performed via phone, email, virtual meetings
· Help military veterans obtain drug-free pain relief through the VA
· Use medical knowledge and previous sales experience to facilitate HealthLight conversations with both veterans (90%) and VA providers (10%)
· Provide clinical and educational resources to veteran and VA provider team
· Collaborate with Sales Manager on VA leadership connections, building relationships for future VA growth within HealthLight
The HealthLight Veteran Support Specialist is a Business Development Representative role which will support the HealthLight sales team by helping them achieve revenue growth specifically within the HealthLight/VA partnership, and maintaining the veteran relationships established by the HealthLight network of sales professionals. The Veteran Support Specialist will support the sales team by contacting incoming veteran leads as well as current veteran customers via phone and email, responding to veteran lead requests and questions, explaining the science of infrared light, handling administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and resolving questions from veterans.
The specialist reports to the Sales Manager and will support our team of sales professionals, Customer Service Manager, and various departments in a variety of veteran-related tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities
The HealthLight Veteran Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting the HealthLight sales team and customer service team to achieve revenue growth, build lasting relationships with veterans, and increase customer satisfaction for the organization.
Duties will include the following, which is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities:
1. Contacting veteran customer leads via phone and email, including responding to inbound veteran calls and emails as veteran’s first point of contact with HealthLight. This means covering the entire USA at appropriate hours.
2. Educating veterans on HealthLight/VA partnership, including providing documents for veterans to share with VA providers and initiate sales process.
3. Explaining infrared light therapy and how it relieves pain and promotes healing.
4. Following up with veterans who are in-progress with the VA, and sharing information with Sales Manager to complete the sale
5. Scheduling and coordinating sales meetings and events in collaboration with Sales Manager
6. Performing administrative tasks for the Veteran Administration business
7. Completing tasks and performing lead follow-ups within CRM system (HubSpot)
8. Maintaining veteran customer data and updating HubSpot accounts for sales reports
9. Researching and compiling information for sales team as needed
10. Serving as backup for customer service
11. Handling and fielding veteran customer calls for sales and customer service teams
What You’ll Need
● Charismatic personality with good communication skills required.
● Previous experience in healthcare using medical terminology (CNA, PTA/COTA, PT, LPN, RN, etc.) required.
● Experience in medical device sales preferred.
● Passion to help patients achieve drug-free pain relief required.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
● Strong organization and project management skills required.
● Previous experience with CRM Systems, specifically HubSpot, highly preferred.
● Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
● Remote meeting familiarity preferred: Zoom, Teams.
● Social Media skills (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) preferred.
