The Sr. Director of Nursing Informatics is a leadership role in bridging the Nursing practice and the Information Systems and Technology team, ensuring the integration of nursing workflows across the EMR at Kaleida Health. Leads initiatives in partnership with nursing and IS&T teammates with the goal of supporting nursing excellence, enhancing patient care delivery, improving outcomes, and driving innovation.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications
BS in healthcare or an approved school of nursing required. MS in Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, Nursing Administration, or a related field preferred. 10+ years of experience in Nursing and/or IT required. 7 years of nursing leadership/management experience required. Experience in medical informatics, clinical systems implementation, process and workflow re-design and change management associated with the introduction of technology into the clinical culture preferred. Solid practical experience to design and implement systems within the framework of technical boundaries. Established track record of accomplishments in management/leadership, particularly involving successful, collaborative work with nurses and providers. Practical experience with electronic health information systems including configuration, implementation, support, and optimization in an ambulatory or hospital setting. Proven track record of successful strategic planning. Proficiency in data management, analytics, and quality improvement methods. Excellent leadership, teambuilding, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams and influence change at all levels of the organization.
Salary Range
$122,975-$212,630 annually *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.*
