Job Summary
Pathway2Careers (P2C) is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer & Content Developer to join our team. A successful candidate must understand the proposal process as it relates to federal, state, and local governments, and will lead the development of proposals and produce creative marketing content.
Primary responsibilities
Proposal Writing:

Take end-to-end ownership of proposal development and related support processes, proposal planning, questions, written proposals, oral presentations, etc.

Collaborate with team members to fully understand client desires and solutions and translate those into compelling proposal content.

Collaborate with business and functional leadership for proposal support and directionplan, coordinate, and lead effective, results-driven storyboarding/story-lining, kickoff, and review meetings.

Conceptualize and develop strategic win themes.
-
Proactively develop, maintain, and continuously apply the proposal management process for each proposal, to include schedule, outlines, storyboards, themes, action items, etc.

Write and synthesize proposal narratives in near-real time as required.

Identify, write, and prepare pursuit support artifacts including white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral.

Leverage and improve the existing archived proposal documents and process.

Develop targeted questions and interview technical and program staff to extract critical information necessary to develop compelling solutions.

Remain current on all solicitation amendments and modifications.

Be ultimately responsible for accuracy and quality and meet proposal deadlines.

Support the archival of sales and proposal content.
Marketing Content Development:
-
Create informative and engaging content to improve the visibility of the P2C brand.
-
Produce well-researched content materials, including blogs, articles, emails, and social media posts.

Understand decision and buying life cycles in the Education market.
-
Track and measure content performance.
-
Create compelling email content for lead generation and nurturing.
-
Be an ambassador of the P2C brand with team members.

Write search engine optimized content marketing.
-
Edit content as an Editorfirst and foremost for story, comprehensiveness, accuracy, and grammar.

Research keywords that would benefit our target audience and research the complete keyword experience to determine the number of pieces necessary to build topical authority.

Collaborate with the vendors and answer questions so they may deliver their best work.

Ensure that writers create consistent content in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and search optimization. Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.

Maintain SharePoint system to house and share relevant content.

Ensure consistent publishing. Identify bottlenecks in our content publishing process and pose solutions so we may publish the most content around the most keywords to increase traffic from organic search.

Manage the P2C blog and hubs as an Editor, proactively identify problems, suggest ways to improve, implement new ideas, and document processes to empower others to contribute effectively and efficiently.

Proven ability to conceptualize and write compelling and personalized marketing-centric proposal narratives and oral presentation slides from scratch as required.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with SharePoint.

Previous work with a CRM system (P2C uses Zoho).
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or English.
-
5+ years of experience in the end-to-end proposal submission process.

Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite business applications.
-
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods of standing.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
