As the Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between the IT department and various lines of the business. Your focus will be helping the business reach their goals with the help of technology, primarily technology we already own. Part of your role will be working with numerous third-party IT relationships such as Microsoft, Integrated Rental, Salesforce.com, Texada, FDC and Accenture, keeping track of the various interactions, goals and timeframes, and holding our business partners accountable. This position will also lead the interaction between the various system developers, trainers, and administrators to prioritize and deliver the various dashboards, reports, applications, and enhancements.
- Manage and direct appropriate portions of the IT team to accomplish business objectives as needed.
- Manage enhancement and bug reports with our various business partners.
- Manage regularly occurring business training sessions for the most critical business systems.
- Manage the overall IT business project prioritization process.
Manage the introduction of new features for our various business systems- -seeking approval from process owners and coordinating testing.
- Ensure IT processes are followed.
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
To be successful in this position you should have strong organizational and leadership skills, preferably within an IT environment. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with business process improvement is required for this position as well.
- High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or certification in computer science or a related field is a plus, though not required
