Escape the Room is America's premier escape room company. Established in 2013 in New York City, it has grown to over 24 locations from coast to coast. Escape the Room is looking for a full-time Manager to join our team. We are one of Glendale's most exciting attractions.
What we're looking for:
In short, we need someone who can proactively get things done and has done so in the past. If you're creative and can think on your feet, we like that. If you're the type of person that notices the smallest detail out of place, we love that. More specifically, you will be tasked with being the main point of contact in responding to, resolving, and/or escalating issues as appropriate. We are growing a company and are looking for qualified candidates to grow with us and help shape the Escape the Room customer and employee experience.
Responsibilities;
- Routine maintenance of props, sets, and public spaces.
- Maintaining an engaging, organized, efficient, and professional work environment.
- Directing staff and managing a wide variety of projects.
- Monitoring and responding to customer questions and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Training, supervising, appraising, and coordinating staff.
- Tracking data and maintaining the highest level of quality standards.
- Professionally interfacing with building staff.
Qualifications;
- Proficiency and the ability to quickly learn a variety of computer and internet platforms/applications including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with set design, general maintenance, and electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to clearly and regularly communicate and resolve issues as they arise.
- Experience in theater and/or hospitality environments a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills, internally as well as with customers
- Ability to travel as needed
