Operations Manager
This position is a dynamic, and critical role, requiring a positive and engaging leader. The operations manager performs general office functions, organizational, and clerical support. Coordinates operations under the director of operations, including but not limited to: Service of down games, installs, removals, game shipments, vehicle maintenance, office operations, project coordination, making sure the company stays compliant on all tribal, local, and federal rules and regulations. Maintains office and warehouse, and is a point of contact for DGS employees as well as clients. The Operations Manager will be in charge of overseeing Operations Coordinators in all of the DGS offices. They will not only handle things at the office such as keeping it functional, clean, and stocked, they will also be in charge of scheduling of projects and service by technicians. A high level of organization is needed in order to keep track of all inventory, projects, and compliance regulations. Attention to detail is also required as there are many moving parts, and many rules and regulations that have to be followed without exception. Current valid driver’s license and DOT certification will be required. Upon successful completion of a 30-day probationary period, benefits will begin should you choose to enroll. These include: Health, dental and vision, company pays 75% of monthly premium. 401k program, company will match up to 4%. Upon successful completion of a 30 day probationary period, employees will also be eligible for holiday pay on companies paid holidays, and will begin accruing paid time off hours.
Essential Functions (inclusive of, but not limited to)
- Managing schedules of team of technicians and coordinators across multiple states (and sometimes time zones)
- Brings a high level of positive leadership
- Always maintains a professional, but fun and positive attitude and helps promote company culture
- Maintain high levels of service to our customers and keep % of down games as low as possible- getting games back up as fast as possible
- Coaches support staff in a firm but fair and friendly manner
- Work with sales team to schedule projects that align with casino's goals, are in compliance with gaming commission regulations, allow for adequate prep time, and fit in your technicians' schedules
- Working with inventory team to procure parts as needed for upcoming installs and down games
- High level of organization to keep track of everything needed for upcoming projects
- Use Excel at a master level
- Maintain high level of customer service for our casino partners
- Serve as main point of contact for casino operations staff for upcoming projects as needed
- Maintain machine inventory
- Maintain parts inventory
- Maintain software inventory
- Stay on top of regulations for each state and tribe that you work with to ensure all necessary timeframes and notification requirements are met
- Handle office maintenance/cleanliness
- May be in charge of setting up and maintaining all utilities for office (water, trash, alarm, security cams, etc.)
- Responsible for setting up new DGS offices
- Some traveling required to other locations
- Keep offices stocked with supplies for team
- Coordinate various game shipments with internal staff and manufacturers
- Ensure various vehicle maintenance is coordinated across the territory's fleet
- Plan various employee appreciation events, including quarterly lunches (sometimes), annual Christmas parties, etc.
- Assist in coordinating territorial Department of Transportation logistics
- Submit quarterly reports as needed to various legalities (county, State, etc.)
- Ensure city and county-required permits are regularly updated
- Obtain notary certification
- Follow all company policies and procedures, failure to do so will result in termination.
- Research small projects as assigned and present findings to management.
- Complete organizational projects as assigned.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
B.A. or higher in related field
5 years or more experience in a management role
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to pass a background(s) check.
Physical Demands
Required to walk, stand, and sit for periods of time.
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for the duration of the work hours.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and move intermittently throughout the day when necessary.
Ability to lift, move, and carry at least 50 lbs
Ability to move 300+ lb gaming machines with the help of moving equipment
Occasional driving of a company vehicle or box truck

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
