Title: Sales Support Representative
Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Support position at Vosges Haut-Chocolat is responsible for providing a positive, consultative, concierge-style guest experience, from order placement to order fulfillment to any necessary post-order troubleshooting. They support our wholesale and private label clients through phone and written correspondence, working closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless execution.
The Sales Support position primarily supports our Wholesale, private label, and independent specialty retailer orders.
Principle Accountabilities:
· Answer all inbound client communication via phone, email, and build relationships for long lasting client experience and to encourage repeat purchasing.
· Use upselling and cross-selling to impact key KPIs.
· Enter and process orders to ensure timely fulfillment and shipping.
· Maintain order tracking and PO status updates for financial reporting.
· Vendor portal maintenance and auditing to ensure listings are accurate and current.
· Execution of new client and product set up and paperwork.
· Serve as a knowledgeable expert in Vosges Haut-Chocolat product assortments.
Create and maintain client databases and marketing lists.
· Provide an above and beyond client experience through:
- Proactive outreach to top clients
- Proactive follow up and re-order prompts.
- Offer sales support to help encourage sell-through.
- New product notifications and launches.
· Sample order processing.
· Tag and categorize all communications to help collect data insights and keep communications clean.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams and departments to offer support and coverage as dictated by the business needs.
· Offer support for wholesale events and tasting experiences where available.
· Product forecasting, sell-through reporting, KPI reports and data analysis to support department growth, particularly in the independent specialty division.
Requirements:
· Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably consumer goods, hospitality, or food and beverage industries
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone and via email and adjust tone/message to the situation.
· Positive “can do” attitude and collaborative nature.
· Exemplary follow through and attention to detail.
· Self-starter who can problem solve and run with little information to complete a task, solve a guest issue, etc.
· Willingness to work flexible and extended hours during holidays due to increased demand.
Helpful:
· Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Intermediate experience with PowerPoint
· Experience with Smart Sheets
· Experience with Help Scout, HubSpot, or other CRM and Helpdesk software.
