Hourly Rate Range ($20.52 to $21.36)
12 Months, Full-Time
Vacation: 12 days accrued annually
Earned personal leave: 11 days accrued annually
Earned paid sick: 5 days accrued annually
Summary:
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, other supplemental benefits, worker’s compensation and wellness benefits. The Benefits Coordinator assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, maintains employee database and files, ensures the tracking and collection of insurance premiums (employee and employer paid), and reconciles all insurance billing. The Benefits Coordinator assists employees with leave requests under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other general leaves.
Education and Experience:-
High school graduate or equivalent (Required)
- Experience in employee benefits or related area
- Experience in clerical accounting and reconciliation
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Docs, and benefits databases
- Skill to maintain a high level of security and confidential information
- Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills
- Ability to self-direct work and work well as a team
- Ability to model high standards of honesty, integrity, truest and ethical behavior
- Ability and aptitude to identify and solve problems
