As a PMIC & POL Applications Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of new product development for these markets and provide technical engineering support for our team’s FAEs and customers.

- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- 1 to 3+ years of experience working on power converters (i.e. switching and linear regulators)
- Practical experience using standard lab equipment such as power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers, and electronic loads
- Prefer some knowledge of programming in Python, experience using LabView, and automation development (bench test equipment or ATE)
- Ability to interpret and document measurement results clearly and concisely
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $98,600 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. - Validate power management devices for a variety of end markets and applications
- Create customer collateral (EVB, user guide, and GUI)
- Write technical documents (datasheets, validation plans, and application notes)
- Develop tests that automate data collection of AC and DC datasheet parameters
- Collaborate with Definition, Design, Test, and Product Engineers through all phases of new product development, and Marketing Engineers (local and in-country) through new product release to mass market
- Provide technical engineering support for a portfolio of industry leading products
