We are looking for an HR assistant to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. The HR assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to target and attract candidates
- Provide administrative support.
- Understand the needs of the departments and its positions.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Assisting HR Department as needed.
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Preparing new employee files and register new employees in ADP
- Serving as a point person for all new employee questions.
- Assist in resolving issues such as employee concerns and situations involving interpersonal conflict in the workplace.
- Advise and resolve associate concerns timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned within your scope of responsibilities.
- File maintenance of human resources records and documentation with the ability to manage confidentiality for the following
- Keep all paperwork in appropriate places, applying security measures to important documents Electronic files maintenance (organize, convert and maintain physical files into e-files) Respond to requests to access files and maintain logs as needed
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Maintain an efficient filing system to facilitate updating and retrieving files
- Adhere to corporate policies to safeguard data while maintaining the confidentiality
- Assists with special projects as needed
Skills and Competencies:
- ADP experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to operate with discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Self-starter; ability to be proactive and take initiative. Able to operate with accuracy and attention to details.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- Prior related experience in an office environment, preferably in the Human Resources area
