Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial management and strategy for our hospitality group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making. They will play a key role in driving financial performance, optimizing profitability, and supporting the growth and expansion of our restaurant portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals, growth plans, and industry trends.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue forecasting, expense management, and capital allocation.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Monitor key financial metrics, trends, and KPIs to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, tax planning, treasury management, and internal controls, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage banking relationships, debt financing, and capital structure to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Provide financial insights and guidance to senior leadership and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, investment opportunities, and business initiatives.
- Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluations for new projects, acquisitions, and growth strategies.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market risks, operational risks, and regulatory risks, through effective risk management strategies and controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, including controllers, analysts, and accountants, to drive performance, accountability, and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and collaboration across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and business acumen to understand and navigate complex financial challenges and opportunities.
- Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and driving financial performance in a multi-unit retail or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and data analytics tools for financial analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management capabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
