Receptionist/Legal Assistant
Qualifications:
· High school or equivalent.
Job Summary:
Goldberg Law Group, PC, seeks FULL-TIME receptionist/legal assistant. Applicants must have a clear background and be professional, organized, punctual, dependable and enjoy being part of a TEAM. This position is responsible for front desk operations as well as a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring office is opened and closed daily as per established schedules
- Assisting in running small office day-to-day workload
- Filing, scanning, photocopying, printing, assembling documents, and other general administrative tasks
- Restocking office supplies as needed
- Answering calls, transferring to correct party, and taking messages
- Greeting guests and clients and preparing for Attorney meetings
- Requesting records and bills
- Assisting in new client and case set-up
- Drafting correspondence
- Managing daily incoming and outgoing mail
- Additional duties and tasks as they arise
Knowledge and Skills:
- Languages: English (Required), Spanish or Portuguese a plus
- Have excellent writing, research, typing, and organizational skills
- Computer Literacy: skilled in Adobe and Microsoft Office Programs
- Typing skills a MUST (50 WPM minimum)
- Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone
- Able to multi-task (speaking on the phone while navigating multiple computer files and programs)
- A strong client service approach and team orientation.
- Demonstrates good judgment, tact, and flexibility under pressure in an environment with many competing priorities.
Candidates will be given the following assessments at interview stage:
· Typing speed test
· Attention to detail timed assessment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
