Ben Allegretti Consulting seeks a talented and experienced Tech Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for explaining complex healthcare business technical concepts in clear, concise, and engaging language. You will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Subject Matter Experts to gather information and ensure accuracy, and "crisp-up" academic or technical reports.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all documentation.
- Be part of our report to client process.
- Adhere to and help develop documentation standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tech Writer or similar role.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in proofreading, copy editing, and editing, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, demonstrated through previous work experience or academic projects.
- Familiarity with AP style, fact checking, research, journalism, and copywriting.
- Knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style, technical writing, and creative writing.
- Experience in proposal writing and word processing is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Graphics creation skills.
- Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
