The primary purpose of the Associate Recruiter is to provide operational expertise on candidate recruitment services.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the identification, assessment and development of external and internal candidate pools for MD Anderson vacancies utilizing various sourcing strategies and techniques.
Ensures that suitably qualified candidates are identified and available to interview for posted vacancies.
Responsible for interviewing prospective candidates and matching their skills/interest with open positions.
Present qualified candidates to the recruiter or hiring department.
Shares market conditions learned from candidates and other sources to key stakeholders.
Cultivates relationships with candidates and provides feedback to ensure an understanding of the recruitment process and position(s) they are being considered for.
Update candidate information, status and other required information into applicant tracking system (ATS) per required timelines.
Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Experience
Required: Two years of professional human resources experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, no experience is required.
Preferred: Current or previous experience with candidate screening and candidate development preferred.
