Keville Enterprises, Inc. (Keville) in Boston, MA is seeking a qualified Project Manager-PT to perform the below listed duties. This position is a part-time position and is to be performed remotely (off-site), with the exception of a few meetings per year.
Duties:
Responsible for core program projects working directly under the supervision of a Senior Cost Estimator or Project Controls Manager. Project Manager-PT :

Manages various project controls aspects of various projects - with minimum guidance and mentoring through conceptual design phase, design development phase, procurement phase, construction phase, start-up and through the final audit/close out phases.
- Monitors and reports on project schedules, budgets and scope for core program and various projects while tracking project-specific events, costs and construction developments.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets and scope for core program and various projects to ensure compliance with guidelines and funding agreements.
- Participate in some site visits of projects during pre-construction and construction and assume supporting responsibility for review of schedule and deliverables on the site visits as an integral aspect of monitoring project schedules, budgets and scope.
- Report progress and observations to Keville and client staff at weekly meetings.
- Review design development documents and prepare and issue review comments for core program projects.
- Review budget, budget revision requests, and cash flow.
- With guidance from Senior Manager, prepare and review change order documentation including eligibility requirements on behalf of the client.
- With guidance from Senior Manager, review cost estimates, project scope, and budget development and other required submittals to recommend funding.
- With guidance from Senior Project Manager, monitor contract compliance during construction of core and various projects with procedures and policies, regulatory requirements and engineering standards.
- With guidance from Senior Project Manager, lead in project meetings addressing project status, funding agreements, amendments and change orders.
- Review client reports for core program projects and provide weekly updates to the Senior Manager.
- Assume responsibility for specific initiatives assigned by the Senior Manager that improve processes and implement best practices for building, from the quality and cost-effectiveness of construction to long-term durability and sustainability.
- Participate in project status meetings, time to time, as may be needed.
- Perform other project controls functions as needed.
Experience in using the following are preferred - - Oracle Primavera P6 software, Sharepoint, e-Builder, Sage Estimating, HCSS, Excel, Power Point, change order management, construction cost estimating, CSI MasterFormat cost division, reviewing and commenting on contractor's proposals, change orders, claims, schedule updates, baseline schedules and/or time entitlement requests.
- Note, this is a part-time position for a Project Manager with project controls experience only. Applicants are not guaranteed a minimum number of hours per week and will not be asked to ever work more than 20 hours per any 7 day work-week. Assignments and tasks will be provided on an as-needed basis. All time/hours will be logged, and certified by the employee, on a weekly basis (certified payroll).
Experience and Qualifications:
Must possess bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 36 months' experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have demonstrated experience with project controls functions on large transportation projects/programs.
