ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Description:
The Packaging and Shipping Associate is responsible for picking, packaging and shipping customer orders. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customer orders are completed and shipped on time and per the customer’s requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Reads pick sheets, identifies product, picks and inspects products to be staged for customer shipments.
- Utilize ERP System to post customer orders, print labels and print product instructions.
- Maintains and replenishes raw materials at packaging stations.
- Ensures products picked are selected according to manufactured date. Orders are filled with oldest product first: “First in, First out” (FIFO).
- Maintain and ensure product and product bins are properly identified.
- Utilize ERP and Shipping systems to process and ship domestic orders.
- Participates and supports coaching and training teammates.
- Effectively communicate with other team members to compete job responsibilities.
- Follows and supports Bodypoint’s Safety Policy.
- Upholds and supports Bodypoint’s values and principles.
Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required Education or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
- 1 year previous experience picking, packaging and shipping preferred
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
Required Skills:
- Computer – ability to use MRP and Shipping computer systems to process orders and complete shipments.
- Teamwork – ability to work with others supporting Bodypoint’s Values and Principles (Quality, Integrity, Caring).
- Self-directed – complete job duties with minimal supervision.
- Communication – effectively communicate with peers and managers verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail: ability to learn product specifications and inspect products prior to packaging and shipment to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Inspection: ability to inspect products to product specifications and quality requirements.
- Problem solving – ability to identify and inform supervisor of any product or process issues.

- Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pulling / pushing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, and walking.
- Moderate moving, transporting and positioning of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Location Type:
- Indoor facility, manufacturing environment, location WA State.
- Frequently remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50lbs.
Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around running machines and equipment. The employee is exposed to minimal noise levels in the work environment. The employee may be infrequently exposed to hazardous and non-caustic chemicals or solutions. Bodypoint provides appropriate PPE for working conditions and environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
