Junior Recruiter is an entry-level position focused in recruitment that helps a company find and hire qualified candidates for open roles. You are often the first point of contact for job applicants. Responsibilities may include:
- Sourcing and selecting candidates: Working with the recruitment team to identify and qualify candidates
- Writing job descriptions: Creating job ads that meet company standards and posting them on job sites and social media
- Screening resumes: Reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone screens
- Scheduling interviews: Organizing interviews and setting up meetings with hiring managers
- Administrative tasks: Obtaining references and background checks, entering candidate data into CRM systems, and sending documentation to candidates.
- Building relationships: Promoting the company as a good place to work and building relationships with candidates through exceptional customer service
- Working with clients to understand their needs for staffing and finding the most suitable person for the job. Following up with clients to let them know about starts, ends, issues and proactive next steps to keep their business needs moving forward.
- Assisting with employee appreciation events
- Processing payroll, updating w4’s and other needs as they arise.
