The FP&A Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the various business units and senior management. The role involves preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, profitability analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. The FP&A financial analyst also participates in strategic initiatives, projects, and ad hoc requests as needed. While performing all duties and responsibilities, the individual will, at all times, model Braun values and principles and act in a manner consistent with the Braun Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Essential Functions
· Prepare, consolidate, and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
· Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to improve business results.
· Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, scenarios, and projections to support strategic decision making and planning.
· Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT and HR to ensure data accuracy and alignment and address any spending concerns.
· Assist in preparation of the annual five-year strategic plan
· Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts and monitor actual results against plan.
· Assist in Mergers and Acquisitions Analysis as needed.
· Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management or business partners.
· Perform certain monthly close tasks such as journal entries and invoice approvals as needed.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required, a CPA, CMA or MBA is preferred.
· Minimum 1-2 years of accounting/finance experience.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
· Experience with ERP, BI, and FP&A systems. Knowledge of Planful is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
