We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at a Group Home under the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor residents' health and vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by the nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean and organized living space for residents, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Document residents' care and activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Arizona.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License Preferred
