Increase customer satisfaction and retention by providing customers with accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information. Build rapport and collaborative relationships with current and prospective members in accordance with compliance guidelines.
The Whitaker Customer Service Representative is the face of the company to the customer. As such, the customer service representative will be professional and courteous in assisting the customer. Duties include, but aren’t limited to the following:
o Receive orders from the customer via email, phone, fax, etc.
o Confirm receipt of the order to the customer.
o Resolve any discrepancies (pricing, quantity, etc.) with customer.
o Enter order into Chempax, check for errors and forward to appropriate personnel for processing.
o Communicate updates on the order to the customer.
o Support the sales team with pricing and product entry into Chempax as needed.
o Help customers resolve issues or obtain requested information (tracking, SDS, CofA, ect)
Position Requirements
· Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
· 1-2 year of office support or customer service experience.
· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Consistently responds to customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner within company timelines.
· Maintains a positive and professional demeanor.
· Customer service experience, preferred.
· Bilingual (Spanish), a plus.
· Chemical Industry Background, a plus.
· Reliable transportation.
· Ability to read and interpret documents.
Skills
· Datacor ERP experience is a plus.
· Excellent telephone skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent typing skills.
· Mathematical skills.
· Microsoft office experience, preferred.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
