Description of Role:
Each instructional coach at Once will be responsible for remotely coaching school-based instructors. These instructors tutor early-elementary students in foundational reading skills each day using a scripted curriculum we provide. Tutoring sessions are recorded, allowing coaches to view them remotely. Based on these virtual observations, coaches will lead weekly live virtual coaching sessions with each instructor. Through the process of coaching instructors, coaches take responsibility for the reading progress of hundreds of students from across the country, ensuring that they master reading skills by the end of our one-year program.
Interested coaches can be selected for the additional responsibilities of managing/coaching other coaches as a Coach Lead or of traveling to facilitate in-person onboarding sessions with new instructors as a Trainer.
