Be Strong Fitness is seeking skilled and enthusiastic fitness professionals for two key roles: Group Fitness Coach and Head Coach. These individuals will lead our Strength Training Group Classes and, depending on the role, may also oversee our group class programming. Available hours include early morning, evening, and Saturday mornings. Our gym specializes in Functional Bodybuilding, blending traditional strength training with functional movements, bodybuilding techniques, powerlifting, and metabolic conditioning. Our approach is dedicated to empowering each member to achieve their fitness goals through innovative and carefully designed programs that prioritize safety and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
For Both Roles:
- Lead and instruct functional strength and conditioning classes for up to 15 people, ensuring proper mechanics and safety in all exercises.
- Provide personalized training and program modifications tailored to individual fitness levels.
- Drive member retention and engagement through proactive relationship building and personalized consultations.
- Manage and contribute to social media content and marketing efforts to promote the gym’s services and community events.
- Coordinate and lead special workshops and fitness events to enhance member experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for all members.
- Handle administrative duties to ensure smooth operations and excellent member service.
Additional for Lead Coach:
- Develop and oversee the gym’s programming, including tweaking and enhancing our training programs to better suit client needs and equipment/spacing.
- Collaborate closely with the owner to continuously improve and innovate our class offerings to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Mentor and develop coaching staff, enhancing their skills and coaching techniques.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Energetic, motivating, and experienced in fitness training, with a deep knowledge of functional training and strength conditioning.
- Familiar with and fully buys into our functional training style, passionate about helping people, and proud of their craft.
- Has high personal standards, a positive attitude, and is open to feedback to continually improve in coaching and customer service.
- Loves being part of our gym environment, actively participates in community building, and enjoys engaging with our members.
- Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is proficient or willing to learn social media management.
- Resides in or near Northwest Houston for reliability and punctuality, especially for our early morning sessions.
