Experienced Medical Assistant
Denali OB-GYN Clinic seeks dedicated and professional Nationally Certified Medical Assistants to join our rapidly growing and self-motivated team. We are looking for experienced and competent CMAs who are flexible, want to learn and grow, and are willing to work hard. Someone who has done triage work or training is encouraged to apply.

Duties include, but are not limited to
- Rooming of patients (vital signs, chief complaint, histories, and other clinical information).
- Assisting with procedures.
- Surgery scheduling.
- Stocking supplies.
- Phone messages, following up on appointments, procedures, and referrals.
- Some triage and training work.
Knowledge and skill requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer and typing skills including grammar and punctuation.
- Medical terminology, especially women's health and obstetrics.
- Ability to implement a prescribed care plan and document PHI accurately.
- Professional, personable, and caring, and able to help patients feel at ease.
Requirements
- Current Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (through NCCT, AAMA, or ARMA) certificate.
- Current CPR/First Aid.
- For experienced MAs, we are seeking those with three or more years clinical experience (in women's health or obstetrics helpful but not necessary). For less experienced MAs, we will consider those with one (1) of clinical experience, or in some cases, directly out of school.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
