Overview:
Join our team at GRAFF, a globally recognized manufacturer and distributor of luxury kitchen and bath faucets and fixtures. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support our operations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and throughout Europe. As an Inventory Analyst at GRAFF, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Position Summary:
Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for ordering, expediting and maintaining purchase orders in our ERP system. The analyst will work closely with our manufacturing facility in Poland, and the local team in Milwaukee, including Customer Service, Inside Sales, Engineering and Warehouse personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of product as required by forecast and customer orders. Monitor status of open purchase orders and expedite as needed to satisfy customer demands.
- Update system with current ship dates provided by factory.
- Respond to requests from Sales and Customer Service regarding cancellations and ship date inquiries.
- Track all shipments and coordinate with warehouse to resolve any shipment discrepancies that may occur. Work with carriers/brokers to clear international shipments by assisting with documentation.
- Process air and ocean shipments including identifying any pricing issues, updating UPCs in system and creating receiving paperwork.
- Review and assist with creation of new and existing parts and bills of material to ensure accuracy.
- Work with Engineering to issue orders for replacements parts and track items needing rework for quality issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum High School diploma
- Minimum two years of experience in sourcing or distribution.
- Ability to speak Polish is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficiency in computers is required, particularly Microsoft Office -based programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – specifically advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and macros.
· Work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking environment.
· Creative problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and ability to jump into projects that are already in process to facilitate completion.
Physical Demands of the Job:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
- Minimal lifting required, up to 40lbs, as needed.
