This is a remote position. The candidate should reside in the Northeast USA.
SUMMARY: The Affinity Group Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support to the development and/or enhancement of business planning; maintaining tracking systems and tools for the Affinity Group team. Additionally, this position will assist with the administration and coordination of sales and other related functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Support sales team by collecting & conducting information analysis for the markets.

Analyze and monitor business performance by Customer, Brand and Products

Provide volume data for Customer presentations (business reviews)

Assist in the preparation and update of sales team tools and scorecards
-
Foster a collaborative environment by keeping an efficient cross-functional communications
-
Assist with marketing activities
-
Create PowerPoint presentations for sales teams to present to customers
-
Advise on assortment to fit retailer strategy
-
Manages the extraction of data (syndicated, panel, and others) to be incorporated into reporting tools and templates
-
Provides space management/section merchandising support to include basic analysis of space to sales at both account and market level.

Maintain and update all assigned reports/tools/templates for clients/customers and ensure the information is accessible to team members

Responsible for accuracy of end results that may require analyzing data directly from syndicated data companies and IT or other vendor sources.

Identify promotional and marketing opportunities from syndicated data
-
Create cross-manufacturer merchandising opportunities.

Advise on trade/marketing investment plan efficiency.

Report results aligned with retailer capabilities.

Collaborates with the business teams to research, identify and deliver solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Candidate must have proven analytical skills and computer proficiency, Advance Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot tables) and PowerPoint is a must.

Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros would be a strong asset.

Experience with syndicated data/POS data and/or space management tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

Organize and prioritize many different tasks across multiple shareholders.

Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems
