Job Overview:
Our housekeeping team carries out the most important function of our responsibilities. They are responsible for cleaning the resort condominium units to the highest standard while working well with and supporting others, reporting maintenance needs, and being efficient in this work. This position will typically require work on Sundays but is flexible to availability throughout the rest of the week. Sunday shifts are typically 5-6 hours starting at 9:30/10:00 AM.
The condominiums have two bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms. The work involves preparing each unit for arrival by ensuring units are vacuumed, dusted, sanitized, and that beds are made. Includes working with others to help ensure that each condominium is in overall great condition. All supplies and equipment are provided.
The Housekeeper reports to the Lodging Manager. It is important to our team that we all work together to prepare units for arrival in a timely fashion. Not all condominiums will always require the same amount of time and attention, and we work together to reach our daily goals.
Qualified applicants are 100% reliable in appearing for work, honest, hard-working, and carry a positive and helpful attitude. They are also highly organized and have a passion for cleanliness. Together, these qualities help us to ensure the total satisfaction of our condominium owners and guests. There is opportunity for advancement for those who demonstrate on-the-job excellence in these areas.
Not every day is easy and without challenges – but in the general sense, we accept nothing less than a highly positive, collaborative, and respectful workplace for every employee. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role to ‘set a stage’ that enables our owners and guests to make important vacation moments come to life. All duties and responsibilities of this position are always performed with exceptional caring and a genuine service attitude, all critical parts of upholding the company standards and culture.
