Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $18-23 per hour DOE
Overview
The Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Corporate Office in Minnetonka. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception Duties:
- Greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and handle inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Office Management:
- Maintain office supplies, coordinate maintenance of office and IT equipment, and ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Support the team with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communication:
- Liaise with staff, clients, and external partners.
- Distribute information as necessary and facilitate effective communication within the organization.
- Event Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and execution of meetings, training sessions, and other events.
- Prepare materials and coordinate logistics.
- Confidentiality:
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure compliance with privacy policies.
- Additional Tasks:
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the overall functioning of the office.
Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or related field are preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role is highly desirable.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
