As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities.
The PSR Specialist assists in providing direct rehabilitative and clinical services to adult mental health individuals in a clubhouse setting based on International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. Assists the Clubhouse Director, staff and members with creating a vibrant and conducive psycho-social rehabilitative setting to achieve optimal opportunities in obtaining employment, building social skills and continuing their recovery process.
Compensation Range:
The starting pay for this position is $15.94 - $18.75 hourly rate, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

- Assists with special projects as assigned
- Provides supportive, educational, and social recreational services
- Develops jobs and manage Transitional Employment Placements.
- Participates in community relations activities via local Chambers of Commerce
- Provides members with job coaching and job search assistance
- Assists members with resume writing
- Assists members with completing DHS and Secretary of State Paperwork
- SIP Coordination
- Provides onsite crisis intervention and case management.
- Participate sand promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives
- Completes all required documentation in a timely fashion; meet requirements for staff productivity and direct service time, and caseload management of up to 25 members.
- Participates in program in-service education and community education.
- Participates in activity planning and coordination.
- Completes case notes in the appropriate format and submit to medical records activity within prescribed time limits.
- Utilizes a trauma-informed approach
- Provides transportation services to members.
- Meets established productivity standards of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in working with adults with serious mental illness.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s license and good driving record.
- Transportation or automobile accessibility with current auto insurance.
- Basic understanding of principles of psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Basic understanding of Michigan Mental Health Code and Recipient Rights.
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, the CNS Corporate Compliance Program and CNS Code of Ethics as well as other policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
- Ability to use discretion and judgment when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Intermediate time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Intermediate presentation, facilitation, collaboration and team working skills.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the
department
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft office products

- Some college level courses preferred
