Our goal is to make our canine guests’ and clients experience a positive one every time with Zoom To Groom and Grove Bark Inn, while making grooming appointments for Zoom To Groom and making reservations for hotel, grooming and daycare services for Grove Bark Inn. These appointments need to be done by accurately collecting and processing customers’ instructions in order to provide the best care for their dog.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties: include the following.
- Welcomes every visitor/member/guest that walks through our door or calls on the phone.
- Educates customers and answers questions about our facility and services via telephone, email, letter and/or in person.
- Completes and communicates an “on duty report” to incoming and/or outgoing shift employees.
- Checks-in and checks-out clients and canine guests.
- Makes and confirms reservations.
- Sets up and maintains files.
- Monitors space availability on a daily basis.
- Takes incoming dogs to play parks or hotel area and bring departing dogs to front.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience.
- Dog handling experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have professional appearance and demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have ability to problem solve and take initiative.
- Must demonstrate safe working habits for one-self, other employees, the dogs and clients.

- Must have excellent computer (MS Office) and telephone skills.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task.
- Must be a reliable and friendly team player.
- Must be organized, flexible and posses excellent time management skills.
- Must be quality focused.
- Must have a dependable way to work.
- Must be dependable to show up to work on your scheduled days.
- Working on every other Saturday, rotating.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
