Weekday and Weekend Concierge
The 10 Rittenhouse Square Condominium Association is a 35-story luxury condominium building in downtown Philadelphia serving 145 residential Units and two commercial spaces.
The concierge is the shift supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that the door/front desk is always attended to and that resident requests are answered in a timely and professional manner. As the shift supervisor, the concierge is expected to effectively manage the door staff to achieve the highest level of service. The concierge ensures that company standards are consistently met, and that excellent service is provided to residents.
Candidates with a background in hospitality and a supervisory role are preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensures that all residents’ needs are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
- Politely and professionally greets and assists all residents and guests, including vendors (by name, if known).
- Monitors and responds to any concierge desk emails in a timely manner.
- Reliability and excellent attendance are critical.
- Respectfully interacts with other departments and door staff.
- Maintains knowledge of cultural, entertainment, dining, etc. happenings throughout the city.
- Answers all front desk calls immediately and returns any missed calls as soon as possible.
- Utilizes the internal BuildingLink system to review/enter permission to enter instructions, package delivery notifications, maintenance requests, amenity reservations, or other Unit-specific items.
- Serves as shift supervisor and addresses any attendance, performance, or other concerns regarding door person with staff or management.
- Establishes relationships with contractors, real estate agents, dry cleaners, landscapers, and other vendors that are frequently in the building and/or contracted by the Association.
- Receives and submits maintenance and housekeeping requests on behalf of Unit Owners and communicates relevant data for such requests to appropriate departments.
- Handles all amenity reservations, upon request, within the permitted time frame and boundaries as provided in the building’s rules and regulations.
- Possesses understanding of BuildingLink, Avigilon, computer elevator software and other technology necessary for the role.
- Has knowledge of building rules and regulations, specifically regarding the party room, guest suite, house car, fitness center, move-ins/outs, loading dock hours, etc.
- Addresses complaints that might arise during the shift in a professional manner or communicates complaints to the management office.
- Effectively communicates any non-emergency incidents that require the attention of management or engineering.
- Has knowledge of and follows emergency protocol for leaks, fires, etc., as a main point of contact and communicates any emergency to the building’s Chief Engineer, or appropriate party (such as 911 or service contractor).
- Actively monitors the building’s CCTV security throughout the shift to identify and address any causes for concern.
- Announces all guests to residents before allowing access to the elevator.
- Ensures that building entrances are secured where applicable.
- Maintains the front desk in a clean and orderly condition.
- Is proactive and exercises good judgement when confronted with unforeseen situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background in a hospitality, supervisory or security role required
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to learn internal building systems such as BuildingLink, elevator and security software
- High School Diploma

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
