- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and/or requests by providing assistance when appropriate
- Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, conduct phone screenings, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Prepare a variety of highly confidential, specialized, and recurrent reports such as personnel data
- Perform broad range of administrative details of highly confidential nature on a regular basis
- Maintain filing system including items that are confidential. Establish, maintain, and when necessary, revise supervisor/manager’s files
- Maintain manager’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments. Regularly arrange travel and hotel accommodations for frequent extended trips. Compile and submit expense reports
- Open and review HR mail and respond to routine inquiries and ascertain which items can be delegated to subordinate manager and compose responses to routine inquiries
- Require continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and a detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel
- Coordinate high level meetings with MSI associates, business unit-wide meetings, as well as candidate interviews
- Serve as central communication point for associates on human resource and associate relations items
- Follow up on all assignments delegated to subordinate manager as to status, completion, etc.
- Operate office equipment including fax, copiers, printers, binding machines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
