Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to work as part of a team to successfully implement a Business Intelligence platform that will allow the client to unify, analyze, and illustrate information in order to make more informed business decisions and create workable plans and strategies to identify new program opportunities, eliminate inefficient business processes, increase enrollment, and provide adequate resources to educate. Client is looking to introduce a modernized system solution that integrates multiple analytic engines and visualization tools, and is able to manage, integrate, deliver, and support:

Strictly structured, semi-structured and multi-structured data files and types;

Advanced analytics processing;

Near-real-time access to data for analysis;
-
Transferring data to and from cloud services with On-Premise systems data sources and services;

Transparently integrate multiple platforms in unified data warehouse architecture supporting traditional decision-support workloads, such as BI reporting;
-
Robust dashboards (static and dynamic) as well as associated visualizations to include geospatial visualizations;
-
User-friendly, customizable reports and dashboards;
-
Social collaboration tools.
There are multiple professional services beyond installation, including data mapping and translation activities, data cleansing activities, assembly of data marts / OLAP cubes, API programming, training and support, and upgrade notice and assistance.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

Supports the organization by translating business initiatives and goals into analytical questions, identifying critical metrics, conducting analysis, and developing reporting.

Help identify relevant datasets, contribute to data transformations, clean data, and conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.

Create visualizations, reports, and present findings, using business intelligence applications, spreadsheets, or code.

Define data quality needs to support analysis and should be proficient in profiling data to support data quality definitions.

Need to implement quality monitoring or work with others to do so and should be able to communicate the impact of data quality on analyses.

Create documentation and provide training to inform stakeholders and cultivate data literacy within the organization.
Mandatory Experience:-
At least five (5) years of experience supporting the design and development of analytical models, tools, or programs using Data Analysis tools.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a data analyst or in other quantitative analysis or engineering disciplines, such as researcher, data engineer or Business Intelligence analyst.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of lead experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) from multiple disparate data sources, including data analysis and data cleansing.

Must possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting data analytics and reporting using tools such as MS Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, or any similar tool.
Desirable Experience:-
Have two (2) years of experience working in a Higher Education environment.

Strong background in data profiling, mapping, cleansing and extraction.

Experience in supporting data loading cycles, data validation and testing.

Strong SQL skills and be able to work in one or multiple BI frameworks depending on need (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Experience supporting the creation and delivery of end-user training.
