Major Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics of L&M’s Speaker Bureau financials. The Financial Analyst will deal directly with the SVP and Director(s), Speakers Bureau on the UCB Speakers Bureau financial matters and with clients to comply with reporting requests.
This role would also be supporting standard management reporting and will include responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyses in support of organization goals. The Financial Analyst will be the partner choice in observing business trends and making insightful recommendations. The Financial Analyst will be a client-facing role. This is a remote-based position located in the United States.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Assist the Directors and SVP with the budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning
· Preparation and presentation of financial reports directly to the client: bi-weekly financial reports, accrual reports, monthly budget variance analysis, quarterly business reviews.
· Clearly articulate to the client how you are tracking trends and provide recommendations for increased efficiencies for budget tracking
· Preparation and presentation of financial reports: monthly budget variance analysis, quarterly business reviews to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, ad hoc as needed
· Partner with Accounting on month end close
· Build and maintain relationships with department owners to drive financial goals
A.S.K. (Ability/Skills/Knowledge):
· Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting. Proven emerging management experience demonstrating business acumen, exposure to developing and delivering functional/department goals, delivering results, challenging current practices to drive improvement and innovation, coaching and developing subordinates through sharing knowledge/experience including remote and cross functional teams
· Experience in Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry preferred
· Experience in FP&A or Data Analytics
· Exceptional knowledge of financial statements
· Advanced Excel skills are necessary. Advanced statistical, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization tools preferred

· Excellent computer knowledge and skills; must be proficient in Windows, Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other major programs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
