As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing conducting cycle counts, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in cycle counts. The position will be responsible for ensuring data and inventory accuracy using JDE and DSI operating systems as well as training employees on inventory control processes and procedures. This position will also be responsible for raw material storage, organization, and movement for production.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible of organizing and maintain accurate inventories of all raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensures all materials are visibly identified and labeled. Designates specific locations to materials, maintains materials organized in the assigned locations. Manages overflow situations by assigning and controlling temporary locations.
- Maintain communication with material buyers on inventory levels and timely replenishment. Relays shortages to the Production and Purchasing teams.
- Reports inventory discrepancies to responsible parties between physical counts and computer records. Investigates discrepancies and generates solutions to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Performs and coordinates daily/weekly/monthly specific cycle counts. Reports results and investigates discrepancies.
- Provides direction to production and shipping personnel on cycle count findings.
Qualifications:
- Require: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Prefer: Associate’s Degree (two year college or technical school)
- 1 – 3 years of related experience in manufacturing and inventory control methods; extruded components experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and JD Edwards.
- Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets.
- Experienced operating material handling equipment or ability and willingness to learn how to.
- Must be available to work overtime on short notice, which may include weekend, evening, or holiday hours.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
