Neuroversion is seeking a full-time (or part-time) physician assistant to join our team. Our providers are compassionate, collegial, and hardworking, all with an exceptional clinical acumen. We want a like-minded team player that is willing to collaborate with others in providing the best medical care for our patients. Our clinic is at the forefront of providing innovative evidence-based medicine to improve healthcare for not just our local medical community but also for patients traveling from outside of Alaska. We are open to all levels of experience and willing to provide additional training and education. However, we expect integrity, reliability, flexibility and dedication to patient care from qualified candidates
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Obtain full history of new patients and current HPIs of existing patients
- Perform comprehensive or detailed relevant physical examinations
- Compile and review medical records
- Order laboratory studies and imaging studies
- Coordinate patient care with other providers, within and outside the group
- Document clinical reports
- Willing and motivated to learn interventional pain procedures
Qualifications:
- Current state of Alaska Physician Assistant or at least in the process of obtaining one
- Current DEA license
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be willing and able to work some Saturdays
