Team Lead Clinician – Mobile Crisis Response Team Program
Program Overview:
The Mobile Crisis Response Team Program (MCRT) is an innovative new program for San Diego County. MCRT will respond to urgent/emergency (non-911) calls and provide crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis, and to connect them to the most appropriate level of care. These services will be provided to adults, including Transitional Age Youth (TAY) and older adult populations in the North Coastal San Diego County Region. This is a field-based program that includes transporting clients.
Job Summary:
Exodus Recovery, Inc (Exodus) is looking to hire a full-time and per diem Team Lead Clinician for its (MCRT) Mobile Crisis Response Team Program. Team Lead Clinicians are licensed clinicians that provide comprehensive specialty mental health and case management services for clients in Exodus Recovery contracted programs. The Team Lead provides behavioral health services and serves as the administrative lead during the absence of the Program Director or Associate Program Director. Assists the Program Director with clinical compliance. The Team Lead works in conjunction with Exodus management to supervise and facilitate the delivery of services to include assessment, crisis intervention, case management, collaboration and coordination with community partners, rehabilitation services, and clinical supervision. Team Lead Clinicians shall meet the qualifications as indicated in the Short-Doyle Medi-Cal Rehab Option Manual and provide services in accordance with the scope of their practice.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Licensure by the State of California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or RN, required.
- Master’s degree in a mental health field such as psychology, counseling, or social work preferred.
- Three (3) years of Mental Health and Substance Abuse clinical experience
- Two (2) years’ experience in supervision, administrative and organizational ability preferred.
- Two (2) years of behavioral health crisis interventions experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral health and risk assessment.
- Must possess independent and mature clinical judgment and the ability to critically assess a situation for risk and response.
- Must pass criminal background check, successfully complete applicable credentialing, and receive approval for §5150 designation, as applicable.
- Valid CA driver’s license and is required. Good driving record with 3 years of driving experience and candidate must be 21 years old or older to drive.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Education:
- Masters in mental health related field and applicable license with BBS, BOP, or BRN.
- Current CA license and continuing education for maintenance of license as applicable.
- Current CPR certification and CPI or comparable certification preferred.

Pay: $91,000.00 - $96,990.00 per year
