Summary: Responsible for managing customer quality concerns through 8D process, monitor quality issues in operations, other activities concerned with the quality assurance of production processes, and QA department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Review customer test plans, test results, development plans and quality plans.

Lead and support Corrective/Preventive Action processes.

Provide objective results that can be used in making informed decisions and taking appropriate corrective actions ensuring that customer non-compliance issues are addressed.

Documents data obtained during all customer quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.

Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of processes and monitor overall process effectiveness, determine quality standards and establish detailed guidelines.

Evaluate actual steps performed with established procedures, identify areas of deficiency, propose and implement new process/procedures to remedy areas of deficiency.

Assists in quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.

Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.

Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.

Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

Maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals, customer specifications and industry standards including but not limited to: ISO, DSCC, ITAR.

Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to quality processes.

Assists in preparation of all customer audits, including but not limited to: external, internal and ISO audits.

Review Government requirements applicable to ISE Labs processes.

Manage customer scorecards to initiate improvement plans.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.

Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
