Position: Lead Innkeeper Concierge of The Jasmine House
Department: Guest Services / Food and Beverage
· General Description: You are the leader in driving the Guest Experience from beginning to end. This role is to ensure that all guests are provided with the upmost service and hospitality experience that is unique and personalized. You are tasked with the proactive involvement and assistance in all guest service activities and development related to The Jasmine House and its guests.
Task and Responsibilities:
· Work with General Manager on service improvement development and implementation and serves as Lead and oversees all aspects and operation
· Continually find and suggest ways in which guest experience can be enhanced (i.e., through services, property improvements, operational efficiencies, etc.)
· Facilitates prearrival emails and phone calls to all Jasmine House guests beginning two weeks out in order to anticipate all guest needs and to better enhance and personalize their stay
· Ensure Daily operations are up to standards including:
o Breakfast preparation, execution, & delivery in accordance to DHEC and Charlestowne Hotel Standards
o Housekeeping: Monitor cleanliness and arrival readiness for all guest rooms, Public Areas, Ensuring the Daily appearance and ambience is up to standards – dust, smells, porch areas cleared
o Evening Social: Executed to standard and routinely present during high volume times to meet and greet guests to receive feedback
o Turndown services: Ensuring completion at requested time and personalized touches
o Guests request: All communication is being flowed to all departments and thru Quore / RoomKey
· Arrival Experience: The role is to ensure each guest is greeted and provided with a detailed tour of the Jasmine House, a room orientation, review of breakfast and delivery time, and given a printed copy of their personalized itinerary that was customized for them prior to arrival based upon communications that took place
· Guest service and Concierge contact for any needs of the Jasmine House guests, i.e. bag assistance, concierge services, etc.
o Fully acquainted with Points of Interest
o Involved in and attend local Concierge Meetings
· Monitoring inventory and checking of incoming food and beverage orders and maintaining par levels. Ordering items when needing within budget constraints
· Scheduling individuals and personal schedule based on business needs
· Stocking and restocking in-room guest amenities during the day
· Coordinating any setup and breakdown of Meetings and Events in the Admiral’s Quarters Meeting Room
Minimum Requirements:
· Must be punctual to ensure timely delivery of guest services.
· Must have great attention to detail and be able to manage timing of tasks well.
· Excellent, professional communication skills
· Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively
· Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
· Must be able to work under pressure or in the presence of a large guest crowd during offered guest receptions and maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude throughout
· Must be able to maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude towards all: guests, peers, management without regard of home department, position and/ or heritage.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
· Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes
· Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Report to work at scheduled time, neatly groomed and in regulation with company dress code policy
· Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and General Manager

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Hotel management: 1 year (Preferred)
