Youth Coordinator - Full time position - 40 Hours a week
Job Description
Youth Empowerment Program Director
Full-time position- 40 hours a week
Founded in 2015, UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission
is to enable all communities to share in society’s abundant resources. Every
person has a right to healthy food and hope for the future. Through
community-based self-help, civic activism, and leadership development, we
create resource-sharing systems to link racially and culturally marginalized
communities to food, education, health care and other essential services. Our
work builds bridges within and across communities to foster cross-cultural
engagement and cooperation. We empower vulnerable communities to meet
their basic needs so they can survive and thrive.
We carry out our mission through four major programmatic areas: The
Community First Food Pantry, a Youth Empowerment Program, Educational
workshops and candidate forums and a Multi-Social Service Navigation
Program. We work closely with community partners throughout NYC through
our network called ‘CBO100’.
Youth Empowerment Program
- Launched by UA3 in 2024, the Youth Empowerment Program is a
year-round once a week after-school program in our Manhattan office
designed to empower high school and college-aged youth. Our goal is
to support mental health, enhance overall well-being, provide invaluable
career development opportunities, and equip young individuals with the
essential knowledge and skills to thrive in school and future careers.
